MOUNTAINBROOK CIVIC ASSOCIATION
Vision:
Moutainbrook, where our tranquil, tree-lined streets embrace you with beauty, and our residents welcome you with friendliness. A safe neighborhood offering a park, playground, optional swim and tennis club, and a variety of social activities - something for everyone to enjoy. Welcome to our hidden gem right in the heart of South Park!
Mission:
The Mountainbrook Civic Association, in coordination with other organizations within the community, will strive to create and maintain a continuously unified structure that supports the priorities and communication of its residents.
The Mountainbrook Civic Association was organized to perform functions, as a group, which might not be feasible on an individual basis. It is a non-profit organization, with volunteer officers and directors.
-
Beautification and maintenance of medians and common areas
-
Neighborhood directory-published for Mountainbrook Civic Assocation members
-
Newsletters to keep homeowners informed and involved
-
Social events including: Easter egg hunt, Halloween parade, spring fling, chili cookoff and Fall picnic.
The officers and directors welcome your comments. Meetings are typically held on the second Tuesday of each month in a member's home. All residents are invited and encouraged to attend. Please reach out to mbcivicinfo@gmail.com to confirm the next meeting time if you would like to attend.
Each neighbor is requested to contribute the regular annual fee with an optional additional $20 contribution to the Anne Heinig Park. Your support is a crucial element in the success of Mountainbrook.
Also available in the neighborhood are the Mountainbrook Swim Club, the Anne Heinig Memorial Park, and the Blazing Bees Kids Garden Club. Although these organizations are separate from the Association, each works in coordination to build a better community.
We always need neighbors to get involved and we have plenty of larger and smaller roles with varied skills needed. Contact mbcivicinfo@gmail.com with any questions or interest!
